Community Involvement

Bethel Community Church's main mission is to spread the word of God through fellowship and community involvement. This calls for the members to open their hearts and serve God through community service. Their heartfelt efforts are given to the community through an annual Christmas program, Easter Egg Hunt, teen quizzing contests, Alabaster church building efforts, revivals, Vacation Bible Schools along with spontaneous missions led by the ministries of the church. The ministry programs are varied and heartwarming: outreach efforts to help needy families; flocks to warm the heart and share in home cooked meals; and road crews to clean up roads around the church and the community. Bethel parishioners are also involved in the global community with missionary trips to other countries. Most recently, to Honduras to help less fortunate Christians build churches and strengthen Christianity in that region. This website is an example of the commitment toward community involvement in Outreach.
